Gaming and a monitor - 1100

A friend came round to look at my new machine last night and, after due deliberation, called me this morning to work up a similar gaming rig + monitor for about 1100 quid. Ive given him all he needs, just wanted to take input - specifically on my PSU - i have left him the option of adding another 600ti in sli down the line - any comments?

Keynes second 2nd suggestion is probably the best option, allowing both strong immediate gaming, and the option to fairly easily increase it in future without getting a whole new PC.

Cheers as always Keynes, had been wondering if i could squeeze in a 670 into this - i can take these to him and give a run down.

only possible change on the 2nd suggestion, would be to downgrade from a caviar black and up to a 3570, seems worthwhile, stronger CPU for slightly longer loading times

Good suggestion sam, one i dont hear so often - may think on this. The machine will be mainly for playing gw2, so load times are a factor. Guess with the slightly increased processing power this cancels out somewhat the time from the hard disk. This argument will probably be resolved by me convincing him to up his budget :)

Off-topic but I finally got GW2 today on disk as I didn't wanna face the huge download. Nobody mentioned there would be a huge update download right after install. Barely gonna be any time left to play at this rate.

There always is with MMO's, the disks tend to be horribly out of date very quickly, so big downloads are always needed.
Anyways, lets try to get back on topic :)
