What's the difference between the 2 if any Keynes? Is it just the price difference?
You only need the k-variant of the CPU if you are planning on overclocking as it is unlocked for easier overclocking - and if you were planning on overclocking you would need better CPU cooling anyways.
Noting that most gaming doesn't really benefit from overclocking anyway.

Cheers for the reply, no plans to overclock here so when I come to buy it I'll change it over. Any other suggestions?

Mount & Blade, Dayz, strategy games and maybe the newest COD is what I'll be mostly playing. Will the above specs be decent enough in the next 3 - 4 years?

Another question is this or could it be considered a quiet rig? If not what changes would I need to make?

Regards
Jordan

No, it will not be considered quiet, any machine with a high end graphics card like the 3GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 780 in it will never be considered a quiet machine when gaming.

Looks good! Whether is ok for the next 4 years depends on the games you play and setting you expect. Right now it will max any game.

Yes, spend more and get a water block and radiator for the gtx 780 which is going to increase the cost of your system significantly and probably void the warranty.

Think I'll deal with the sound, as I'll be getting 2 for me and the misses.

Cheers for the help guys
