Its an excellent case, but also £160... If you are able to throw an extra £100 at the budget, id say go for it.
It is out of stock atm but more are due in soon...so i dont think it would impact your build time in the end...you are looking at about a month from order to delivery atm anyway.

If a mod would be kind enough to give it a once over, see if i have made any silly mistakes or anything?

I have noticed however the OP hasnt answered the bit about monitors.... cant stress how important it is that its a 1440p 144Hz monitor thats needed for this build.
If you dont have one of those already, it would mean you would need £250 - £300 (very roughly) for a monitor to do it justice, if not more

slight amendment would this case suffice?
PCS SR-819 RGB FULL TOWER CASE

Personally, I wouldnt...
Dont get distracted by RGB at this point, unless you have a few hundred that you can burn, i would focus the spend more on performance

Well I need the case to be taller than it is wide to fit under my desk and leave room for me....

And I need one that has a see through side panel since why buy all that RGB internal stuff if i cant see it.

Then i would opt for the Lian Li, excellent case, glass side panel too.
Failing that, the 275R airflow.

so final build would be:

My final question is in regards to the case, does it not need more fans than just 3 one front back and top that it comes with?

Sorry for being annoying on questions.

The Lian Li is very good for airflow/cooling.

Youll have the H100i in there too remember, which will put two in roof with the cooler radiator.
Remove the extra fans, it will create airflow problems.

Thing is, you still haven't stated which monitor you are planning to buy, this has a major effect on your budget. If you are going for a 1080p at 60hz then this GPU is over the top. If you are wanting a superwide monitor at 1440p and above then the GPU is underpowered.

You need to build the system around the GPU and then faff about with cooling and RGB/cases.

They did say they will be buying a 1440p 144hz over the next month, as they are getting paid before the build will be delivered.
A superwide is not going to be on the cards if the case cannot be a wide case (meaning desk space is limited)

Trust me, i know the feeling!
Having to admit to needing reading glasses atm....

Yeah Ideally i just want a 24 - 27inch 144hz 1440p monitor?

I planned on using dual monitors but I think I'll wait till i get a bigger desk before worrying about a second monitor

1440p is automatically gonna be 27 inch, it wont "fit" on anything smaller.
You wont have any issues with dual monitors either with a 2070 Super, when you get to that stage.

Thermal paste in this case may be...he is getting a coolermaster AIO, I know corsairs paste is very good, i'm not sure about coolermasters.... anyone with specific knowledge on this? (apologise if thats you painter!)

Completely agree on the 2080 super, even for just a gaming machine it would be an overshoot, but given new cards are just a couple of months away... waiting a little or even buying a much cheaper one and replacing in a few months is going to be a better idea i believe.

Not an expert at all :) just thought it came with it, can swear I read a review somewhere that mentioned it.
Also because as if this is only for gaming and assuming the cooler actually brought the thermal paste pre-applied, I wouldn't think the CPU would have many problems with high temps. Anyway, what are we talking about here, a £6 save or something like that :D

Can I as a new to custom build person say something as someone who has over the last couple of weeks learnt a hell of a lot from the more experienced and wiser members. i wouldn’t be too concerned about not displaying your RGB components unless it specifically that you want to show them off. There seems an overkill of RGB components as that seems to be the design trend the manufacturers are putting out especially in the gaming system components getting un-illuminated parts that do the same job seem to be difficult. On the note of the case I would certainly take the guys advice onboard certainly in my build I have decided performance on airflow and hence overall cooling of components in increasing thier overall lifespan is worth investing in over how it will look.
