I've been wanting to get into pc gaming for a while and now that i have a bit of cash to spare i decided to come here to buy one but i'm just wondering if this spec is capable of playing most games in high settings...

Not having much knowledge of AMD's, the only thing I would say is to get the silver warranty for just £5.

Yes, it should be fine for just about anything you want to play on it. Might struggle on the newest games out for absolute max settings, but i wouldnt be too concerned as a quick tweak of settings will let you play them perfectly well, with graphics that still look pretty damn good...
