Hi, looking for some assistance with this please.
I'm mainly using this for gaming and home office apps, planning on running two monitors in 1440 which I'm also buying/sourcing for my budget of £2k. So this setup is stretching me already at £1,710.
(EDIT: I have one 1080p monitor already for a secondary, so the priority is buying one 1440p gaming monitor)
I'd like it to be as quiet as possible, so looking for good components and airflow.
Can anyone spot any incompatibility issues, or where I can swap to save, or lower noise?

Yeah I could that with a 1080p build but I'd struggle to do it with a 1440p build to be honest. The Monitors are just a lot more expensive and will eat a lot of the budget.

I notice you dropped the Firecuda, is that because of cost or performance?

Only one monitor needs to be a gaming monitor, the secondary can just be a standard 60hz model as you wouldn’t need the extra refresh rate on the secondary.

It’s very tight though and will no doubt sacrifice the core build which would be advised against doing.

I guess the option may be there to source and ex display primary monitor or open box item off Amazon if there are any going to get the cost down on that.

I think fitting a 1440p gaming build with two monitors in is quite a stretch. As mentioned above, even if you have a slightly cheaper monitor such as the Samsung G5 as your primary and a basic 1080p 60hz display as your secondary you're probably looking at £360-400; if you want two matching displays £600 of your budget is eaten up.
If we follow what Stevey suggests and stick to 1080p we can fit everything into the budget. 2 matching monitors will set you back just under £400. You can downgrade GPU to the 2060 which saves £120 over the 3060.

...Seen the green text, if we've got a 1080p monitor already that can serve nicely as a secondary monitor for the time being. Add in a G5 for £300 and we should be able to get a 1440p gaming system for £1700.

Yeah my brain was going two gaming monitors like a numpty but you're 100% correct.

I see you can get 60Hz 1440p monitors for around £130-£140

Tweaked @Steveyg's build a little to try and get it down to £1700. The 3060ti would be my ideal GPU choice here, but the card is sadly out of stock across the UK. The 6700XT is AMD's 1440p card, and will perform well on most titles, only falling short in Ray Tracing and a lack of DLSS. Other adjustment is downgrading cooler to the Coolermaster. This will be ample for the 5600x, as well as the 5800x if you wanted to upgrade the CPU.

If you have a look at my two builds I listed it's not just a matter of changing the CPU between them, I'd say the Ryzen 7 is best used with a better motherboard and cooling than the Ryzen 5.

Now the R5 5600X is no slouch, that thing is a brilliant CPU for 1440p gaming. It's less than the 5800X yes and it falls very far behind in production. It's all down to needs mate

EDIT Fair warning on the cheaper build though the Cooler Master Liquid Lite 240 is fairly loud
