Gaming PC paired with Odyssey G9 monitor

Hi,

Looking to buy the following PC to pair with a Samsung odyssey G9 monitor.
This has an ultrawide resolution of 5120x1440p (slightly less than 4K by pixel count).
Primary use is gaming. I want to play all the latest games at this resolution at the highest framerate I can get.
For the graphics card I will probably get the AMD 6800 XT when it releases on the 18th.
Price is not a huge issue, I can push it up a bit if required.
Please let me know if you think I should make any amendments to the order, given the intended use. I plan on purchasing tomorrow when Zen 3 releases.

Cheers.

Build looks perfect, as does the screen, simply the best!

Only thing, you’ve got no WiFi configured, just in case you missed that.

Regarding the GPU, personally, I’d push for the 6900xt but it’s not out til 8/12, but the screen could handle it fine.

You could configure the 6800xt and amend it if the build isn’t ready by then.

Agree with all the above. Great choice on the monitor, by the way. I am greeeeeen with envy!

Another possible option for you would be to add another M.2 drive to the build. Maybe a 500GB Samsung 980 as the primary for your OS and programs and then another 1TB/2TB one to keep your games on.

That way, when the inevitable clean install of Windows happens you won’t have to download all your games all over again. Luxury move, but it’s one I’m glad I made 👍

Thanks for the responses guys! I'll take your suggestions on board :D

As for the monitor, I haven't bought it yet. I will probably get it once I receive the new PC. It does look amazing though!
