Hi all,
I am currently playing Fortnite on 60 FPS on XBOX and have the ability to go pro. Im getting placements in the top 200 of EU just on this. I am looking to upgrade to a gaming pc for Xmas as I need to make my break. I have a budget of up to £1000 and am looking for a pc just for gaming but ideally I want to achieve 144 fps, in end game also, Can anyone put me in the right direction or have any recommendations? I take it you need both the tower, and the 144hz monitor within that budget? Also KB+M? Or do you have another budget for the monitor etc?

I’m good with the monitor, nah I’m controller bro but am learning KBMon the side still but just need a decent PC man deffo 144 FPS

If you could go to £1100 you could squeeze in an i7 9700k.

I don't play fortnite, but it's my understanding from reading around that endgame is CPU limited and that you want the CPU with the highest single threaded performance you can get your hands on.

If you're intending to stream, or may play other games, then a system on a Ryzen 5 3600 would probably be a better bet
