My new Lafite Pro arrived yesterday. But I'm struggling to connect it to my Dell D6000 dock.
The D6000 dock has USB -C (inc power delivery) and works fine with my Latitude 5400. When I plug the D6000 docking cable into the Thunderbolt 4 socket in the laptop without the mains power cable connected to the laptop I hear the "new USB device detected" tone, followed by the "USB disconnected" tone. There's no video output and no power in. However, if I am powering the laptop with the mains power cable, I hear the "new USB device detected" tone and get video output. (But this is only if I power-cycle the D6000 dock after the first step, since it seems to get into a strange state.) I'm very confused! 😖
In the PCS Downloads section there's a Thunderbolt related 10_TBT_W10.zip file. But before I make things worse I thought I'd post here to see if anyone can suggest what's going on and whether installing new drivers would help or hinder. Thanks.
