I am at 88 days pre production and my 1080 gpu on my laptop is dead. It is deceased. It is no more. I have been waiting on the ROG strix and just don't think I'll get anything before I move house in 3 weeks! This is a problem as I bought it on finance and can't change my address; I could pay it off but as I'm moving I'd rather have the cash for emergencies!
So....it seems that there ARE 6800xt's in stock....is it worth me saving £136 and getting the machine actually delivered and will I be disappointed with it? I'm running an Ultra Widescreen 1440p monitor. Never had RT so I don't know what, if anything I'd be missing out on.
Thoughts (and prayers?)?
