Went out for a driving lesson at 3:30, then all of a sudden a huge storm came overhead.. Torrential rain, thunder and lightning.. Saw the fork lightning hit a field next to me! I was parked up at the side of the road, as it was too bad to do manoeuvres, so i got told to drive further, which took us into the eye of it, so i literally couldn't see anything in front of me.. Maybe about 3m. Then when lorries came past, i was blind for about 3 seconds, as the wipers couldn't get rid of the water quickly enough.
I finally got home after sitting in little chefs car park for an hour. I unplugged all the plugs that had electronics connected while i had my tea, then when i came back upstairs to plug my tv back in, it sparked when i turned on the socket! So imagine my new computer doing that.. I'd have a flipping heart attack! Still, my tv cost £300, so i was still worried about that!
