Hi there,
Pretty good start here but we can optimise things a little further.
What is your budget?
Any uses besides gaming? e.g streaming, editing, audio production?
What monitor are you pairing with this? Make/model or resolution/refresh rate would be helpful to know.

Please could you post your specs in the format described below and include the configuration link?

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your reply. My budget for PC is 2000 Eur but above specs are coming to 2100 which is kinda Ok. Can't go further up than this.

I have 1080p Asus Monitor VS228NE for now. Will upgrade this later.. want to get good CPU first.

The PC will be used for gaming and as my workstation (work from home) mainly.

I copied in that format but it's not picking my amendments in the order. Hence I had to copy all amendments myself to RAM, GPU, MEMORY, EXTRA FAN. below was the original order which I ordered but first message has my current order. I made changes in RAM, GPU and memory after reading more on internet and reddit.

Thanks for all that info! You say you plan to upgrade your monitor later, what do you plan to upgrade to? (1080p 144hz or 1440p 144hz?) And when do you plan to upgrade? If it's in the next 6 months or so, I'd recommend getting the correct card for you new monitor then upgrading the monitor when you're ready. If it's longer than that, I'd suggest doing what you've done here and keeping the card to one suitable to your current monitor.

Also what does work entail? Is it anything particularly demanding on a PC or is it just the general Zoom meetings, word docs and emails?

Yes I plan to move in 3-6 months to 1440p 144hz if i can afford corresponding GPU in my budget now.. else will make do with 1080p 144hz. Please suggest good Monitors also for future reference.

Office work connection to VMWare virtual machine and zoom calls.

I have to be brutally honest and say I don't think that's a good choice at all. You have gone for a previous generation CPU rather than current, and opted for one of the highest end motherboards to go along with it and then went for a stock cooler on a well known hot 8 core chip. It's always best to seek for advice before purchasing but lets see what we can do to straighten things out.

You need to be quite confident in your monitor purchase to get a GPU to power one you don't have, it's a waste of money otherwise. 1080p is a bit old nowadays so 1440p would be strongly recommended but you need to budget a further £300 for a monitor sooner rather than later to justify the GPU spend.

With that being said I don't know if the budget is quite there for a 1440p setup. The 3060 should just about handle it but it's FAR more aimed at creativity than it is gaming (the vRam shows this). The 3060Ti would be the go-to for 1440p.

If you wanted, the 2060 would smash 1080p and get you in the door of 1440p. You may need to turn some settings down to get higher refresh rates but it should easily handle 60fps+ at 1440p. This would keep you inside budget but would have the platform to upgrade to any level you decided.

The CPU is the last thing you need to consider here. The 5600X is a perfect gaming chip that has you more than covered for most general use. You have said "Workstation" but what sort of workstation? Is it for rendering or high CPU utilisation software? We really need to know this to know whether to advise the higher end 5800X or sticking with the 5600X to allow for a beefier GPU.

The 3060Ti isn't available for order right now, the 3070 is over budget and I don't think the 3060 is suitable.... but I've kept it in for the sake of the budget. Same with the 5800X, I've left the 8 core chip in to show the maximum... if the 5600X is viable it opens up the door to the 3070, which again isn't ideal for a non-ultrawide 1440p. It's a bit of a waste.

Thanks so much for your suggestions. For now 3070 is not available, so i have gone with 2060 for gaming and updated Processor cooler as you suggested. this reduces the price for now and i can get a good monitor. Hope this makes more sense for 1080p gaming with option 1440p also.

Unless you have a particular need, you should drop the Strix motherboard down to the TUF Gaming. There's genuinely no benefit to having it, unless there's a particular feature you need/want.

That would save you some money again.

I think the 2060, for now, is definitely the most sensible option. The GPU is literally the first thing you will upgrade anyway. It'll give you some money to put towards a monitor and then allow you to choose whichever GPU suits best when the time comes.

Some notes on your changes though.....

You've missed the motherboard, I would recommend the TUF Gaming
The primary M2 drive you have partitioned, I would strongly advise against this. If you want a cache drive or something particular, get a second M2 drive. The PCS 250GB offering would do fine.
You've missed the PSU. This is one of the fundamental requirements for the 3070 GPU. You really need at least a 750w PSU in there, and when getting to this level the RMx is a no-brainer. It's a fantastic unit.
You've switched the cooler to the PCS offering, I wouldn't recommend this. The Coolermaster is FAR more reliable and respected.

The USB card is probably excessive. You have seven USB ports on the rear IO and another two on the front...
Thanks.. have removed USB card. How you know i have 7 in rear and 2 in front. I am not able to find that information anywhere, hence had added the USB card as worst case scenario.
