Done. And I based it on our 240v (mains) electricity consumption. But for us 12v is far more important because it's essentially batteries. We have 330Ah of house battery capacity (and another 110Ah engine start battery) and we recharge those via a solar panel array (in the summer this will replace 98% of power consumed) and a 40A four-stage intelligent mains charger (as well as the 80A engine alternator when we're motoring of course). I fully realise that's outside the scope of your project, but 12v consumption/battery capacity/recharge options, on boats is a MAJOR issue for us yachties so an extension of your project into the leisure market (motor homes use similar systems to us) would be of interest as well I think.
