gpu overheated

Ive had my enigma III for 6 months now, It was running perfectly for 3-4 months but 2 months ago it started to randomly shutdown. I phoned up pc specialist 3 weeks ago and they said it is overheating, so after phoning them 5 times over 2 weeks the overheating problem has been fixed, I had formatted my pc, cleaned out the fan with compressed air etc. It now idles at 35-45 oC which as the guy on the phone said it should idle at. Now its been 1 week since that issue had been solved but it still randomly shuts down and everyone who I have spoken to says my gpu has probably been overheated and needs to be repaired. Now this is what I need to find out, I know the warranty will probably not cover it so how much will it cost to get it repaired. Can someone please reply asap with a price.

Many thanks

Yes, your gpu could be damaged, I would still suggest ringing PCS on Monday, they might have to swap the gpu. I would suggest you get a cooling stand though.

Why would the warranty not cover it?
The warranty may not cover the courier charges if you didn't get the silver (or better) warranty, but even with the standard warranty parts + labour should be covered for a year, unless you've done something that would specifically void the warranty.
