So basically I am getting a replacement graphics card, like for like which is a nvidia 3060 because my ones faulty but I wanted to know how to remove the card so I followed steps on YouTube to safely remove my one. So I did this no problem atall very easy but when I plugged it back in and turned the pc back on everything worked except the monitor (zowie 144hz) just says no signal detected? The pc is on, beeps once, fans are on, rgb lights are on but nothing to the monitor atall. Can someone help? Literally all I’ve done is remove the card the way I was supposed to and then reinsert it, plug it back in and power it on???

Can you please include your full specs from the order page?

The GPU is required for a lot of computer to display the image as the image comes from the GPU itself

There are exceptions for CPU's with integrated GPU's but we would need to know the full specs of the machine to see if this applies

Have you plugged the monitor into the port on the GPU (rather than the port on the motherboard IO panel)?

Yeah the 5600x doesn't have integrated graphics. There is nothing in there to display an image when the GPU is removed unfortunately

But I have put the GPU back in?
Ah my bad read that wrong mate, first of all I'd make sure it's all plugged in properly by removing it entirely and then reseating it

I would then turn the monitor on before turning the computer on and seeing if that does anything, I'd also make sure the monitor is set to the correct input. For example if you're plugging into the HDMI port make sure the monitor is set to HDMI, if you're plugging in the Display Port make sure it is set to Display Port, etc

Not a problem haha

Yeah honestly I tried all this last night and none of it worked, tried all the easy stuff I knew how to do like taking it out back in again and making sure plugs were all in the right place and monitor was set to DP

Do you have another monitor you could try by any chance?

Also what was the fault with the previous card you had to get replaced and was the problem confirmed? Just trying to rule out it not being a fault with the PCie slot in the motherboard

Yeah I have two monitors am I best to try the other monitor just with an hdmi? I don’t think it has a DP port

Once I’m home from work I’ll be able to dig
Into it more when I can actually try things just stuck on my mind atm

To the right of the RAM slots are a few LEDS, any of those lit?

PSU connectors fully clicked in at the power supply itself?

Worth resetting the CMOS if the above shows nothing.

I’am not home yet to check

Sure they are clicked in yeah

Is that reset what is shown in the picture? I’ve read a lot of people saying remove the coin like battery for a few minutes and put it back in but I haven’t tried that yet either

Yes, it's better than removing the battery itself simply because you don't have to remove anything that may be dropped.

I should have asked earlier, what is the reason for the RMA?
