Great Performance

I ordered my new laptop on Friday 1st October late in the afternoon. Feedback was great as I could see on the website exactly what was happening. My excitement grew as the production process started, followed by testing, QC and packing and it was shipped to DHL on Thursday, 7th October. Many thanks to Carl Auckland and Anthony Cunliffe.

From the DHL tracking number, I watched the laptop move from Leeds to Hatfield to my local delivery office and was signed out to the delivery courier at 10:12 on Friday 8th October. I could hardly bear to make a pot of tea in the kitchen in case I missed the doorbell. I waited . . . I waited . . . and I waited. The bell rang at 7pm! I commiserated with the courier over her long delivery round and she told me that she finished her round at 3pm but had taken my package home with her and delivered it in the evening because "most people in this area are out at work during the day". It was all I could do to be civil to her.

So, 10/10 to pcSpecialist for their magnificent performance and 3/10 to DHL.

In truth, it was still next day delivery, but I had wasted half a day.

I expect that I'll survive. The laptop is worth every penny and I'll enjoy it for a long time to come.

I could have sworn it was illegal for couriers to take home people's packages? No matter, atleast you have your laptop now :)

DHL are a right pain at times, they often do things like this to save themselves time and hassle just because they "think" (Which they clearly don't) you might not be home!

Anyway, whats your laptop spec? Have fun!

I really must put my order in heh
