Hanging PCIE Cables in new PC?

I have just received my new build and requested to have 2x 8pin PCIE cables to be ready for my separate GPU. I'm slightly confused because i had to put in 2x 6pin and 2x 2 pin PCIE cables into the power slots on the GPU, which has left the same amount of cables being used hanging from the other side as seen in the image attached. Can someone explain to me if it's some sort of adapter or reason for spare cables to be hanging inside this new computer, it doesn't look nice to the eye and is not what i expected when i requested a simple 2x 8 pin PCIE cables ruining the overall look of the PC.

I've done some research and found out that they are daisy chains and the hanging parts are normal but i don't know why they would have used those cables instead of neat and tidy 8pin PCIe cables when that much money is spent on a rig.

They will have used the cables that came with the PSU you selected? I think the only time they would use anything else would be if you paid for the premium sleeved cables.

I'll take a random guess and assume that the PCIe cables were cabled tied to make it neater, but sometimes what can happen is that the cable tie (just a standard zip tie) has probably just snapped or something.
