Hard drive failure again

I got this pc at the start of the year in the beginning of February and its hard drive has failed twice now. One earlier in the year and now again. Ive already sent it back once so here we go again. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about this. Last time i sent it in they just replaced the hard drive and now its failed again.

It would help if you gave some more info. Can you post your full specs, and details of how the HD failed etc? Not a lot people can assist with if you don't share details.

And when you say failed, how did that manifest itself? What error messages, behaviour did you observe?

End of the day, components can fail, and if PCS are replacing it efficiently, that's the best you could hope for. Just a but unluckly to have multiple failures maybe

On startup instead of booting into windows it displays a message. I have enquired before and was told it was hard drive failure however i contacted support about it happening again and they said it could be motherboard related. Unless I was incorrect about the hard drive failure. I am pretty certain though as in the boot order in BIOS the hardrive isnt there.

Yeah looks like the HD wasn't detected in BIOS alright, and falling back to trying to boot over IP. So could be a failed HD, a loose connection to the HD, or a MB issue that means the connection to HD fails.

I think its the motherboard due to it re accuring. I hope they realize it so i dont have to keep sending it back.
