Hard Drive Issue

Hi,
I have a 500GB HDD which I am unable to access and I need to recover files off it as it's all family photos. When connected it to my pc I get the Notification sound, but I can't see the drive in 'my pc' or in the disk manager!
I have tried it on a different pc and I can see it in the disk manager but can't do anything with it!

I had a similar problem with another drive where I couldn't access the drive or see it on my pc, but I was able to solve this by formatting it through my andriod phone. I was then able to access it on my pc. But I wasn't able to do that with this drive!

I'm a bit lost as to what else to try, so would appreciate some help as to what to do next.

I'm running Windows 10.

Is this a PCSpecialist pc? Can you post your full specs?

It's not no. I thought this was a general pc forum for everyone. I didn't realise it was for PCSpecialist pcs, my fault for misunderstanding. I'll try somewhere else.
