How strict is the eligibility requirments? As far as I know, my credit rating is not bad and I often use short term loans (eligible for upto 600 loan with UK lenders).

Apart from the inital admin fee, is there absolutley NO interest charged if paid back in full within the allocated period??

Any other advice welcome

I tried to get my pc on finance about a year ago but was refused, my credit rating was good but I was not on the electrol register and most finance companys will not give you credit if you are not. I got myself on the register just in case I need it for the future but then just saved for my pc.

Cheers

you might be ok without it but I couldn't understand why I was refused and as I was with credit expert I gave them a ring to find out the reason and thats what they said. The only problem with trying to get credit if you are not on the reg is that if you get refused it makes it harder to get credit in the future and the more times you are refused well you can see where this is going, thats as I understand it anyways.
Hope this helps.
