I'm on the look out for a new computer for editing footage from a Canon 550D DSLR.
I've mainly been looking at desktops but space is a bit of an issue for me at the moment so I've been looking into laptops that would be capable of
editing and rendering pretty quickly.
I'd be using Adobe Premiere CS5, After Efects CS5.5, photoshop, etc, plus maybe playing the odd game of Battlefield 3, etc.
I don't know much about mobile graphics cards and how they'd fare with these programs.
Hoping to keep budget below £900, but not sure if that'll be possible.
Appreciate any advice from those in the know (and I know a desktop would be better...but I simply have no room right now!).
