Hi there

Merry Christmas
Question is about Corsair headphones used on a

PC SPECIALIST Tornado R3 Gaming PC - AMD Ryzen 3, GTX 1650, 1 TB HDD & 256 GB SSD

We are plugging it into the headphones jack and my son can hear his friends but they can't hear him through his microphone. Any ideas?

cheers

Its possible that the PC soundcard used requires you to plug in the microphone separately to the headphones. Post your full spec here, although if purchased from Currys/PCWorld it may not help identify this as depends how they advertise it. Looking at the pictures on Currys website, it looks like it might have two separate 3.5mm holes for this.

If this is the case, then the headset you have will only act as a headphones and not a mic but you might be able to buy a splitter similar to this one: Headphone and Microphone Splitter Cable | 4-Pole 3.5mm: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics (other splitters exist so have a search - Im not endorsing this one in any way).
