Hi everyone!!
I am going to use my PC for Photoshop and Lightroom, might try some gaming. I am going to use a 2560x1440 monitor with it.
Reasonable sound is desirable as I am going to connect my home cinema speakers and also planning on buying headphones in the future.

Do not want to sacrifice on quality and would like to keep the system for around 4-5 years without the need to upgrade anything.

At the same time if there is anything that is not crucial or can be changed for something cheaper I would like you to mention.. anything saved will go towards a new camera))

Please tell me what you think of the build below?

Coolermaster CM Storm Trooper
Intel Core i7 4770 (3.4 Ghz) 8 MB Cache
Asus Z87-A (USB 3.0,SATA 6 GB/S) Mobo
16 GB Kingston HyperX Beast Dual DDR3 2400 MHz (2x8GB) RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 (4GB)
120 GB Intel 530 series SSD ---is it really necessary?
1TB WD Caviar Black HDD
Corsair 650w RM Series Gold 80 plus PSU
Super Quiet 22dBA Tripple Copper Heatpipe Intel CPU Cooler --- do I actually need one?
Creative Sound Blaster Z 5.1 Soundcard
Wireless 802.11N 300 Mbps PCI-E
Windows 7 Home Premium
3 year Silver Warranty

Let me know what you think!!

Hi,
Ideally around £1100-1200. Games.. BF4, DayZ, Metro 2033
At the same time if the above spec is worth it, I will spend another hundred..

2400nhz won't make a significant difference. For gaming at 1440p, and considering you don't wish to upgrade for 4 years, I would go for a stronger gpu like the gtx 780.

Yea.. unfortunately.. cannot afford it. The one I posted is already overstretched..
Regarding RAM .. I heard that optimal is 1800. But pcspecialist have either 1600 or 2400..

If you want to save money I would drop the SSD and soundcard, you could try onboard audio first
