HELP NEEDED - Buying my first gaming PC

I’ll keep it brief. My current PC is no longer powerful enough for the games I’m trying to run and I need something better but I’m not sure what I would need.
My current budget is £650 - £800. I’d like something that can run Devil may cry 5 and Soul calibur 6 at 60fps on max settings but i’ll settle for low-average as long as its 60 frames

Will that budget need to include keyboard, mouse and monitor? If not, what monitor will you be using?

That's a pretty tall order for £800. If those games are available on console tbh you might be better off buying a console.

When you think that, of your budget, £90 goes on a Windows licence, and £130 on a budget-but-not-garbage monitor, and you need a case, PSU, mobo, storage, RAM etc it doesn't leave much for the GPU and CPU which are the core gaming bits of the PC.

You could go with something like:

Case
FRACTAL FOCUS G BLACK GAMING CASE (Window)
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.25GHz/19MB CACHE/AM4)

The GPU should probably manage high or better, and will handle even the most demanding AAA titles somewhere around medium-high.
The monitor has Freesync with a wide range, which means it will help smooth out gameplay (no tearing, less stutter).
Case, CPU, RAM, and PSU are all decent enough and should support a GPU upgrade or two.
The motherboard is budget, but shouldn't get in the way of a future GPU upgrade... and at this price level you have to compromise somewhere...

No worries :)

When you want something better, don't buy a whole new PC. Upgrade the existing one (especially the GPU) as that's much more economical. You should be able to get 1 or 2 GPU upgrades done before the rest of the system starts holding you back.

PCS sell components like GPUs and storage to existing customers, or you can buy your own from anywhere and add it in
