Help needed with 6 Socket Compact 2M UFO Surge Protector + Auto Power Off

I bought a "6 Socket Compact 2M UFO Surge Protector + Auto Power Off Function" along with my PC from here a couple of years ago and it's been great. Recently however the slave light constantly flashes on and off along with a continuous clicking noise that is so loud I just can't use it anymore.

Any ideas on how to fix?
