I've just received my computer - I have the HAF 922 case, i have opened up the side panel to reconnnect the fan that pcspecialist disconnected for the journey, but i'm having trouble finding where it goes, its one of two chunks of cables, one of them is plugged in and the other i have spare with no obvious space... there isnt a space on the fan itself or the the actual board itself, do i really need to connect this or will the fan work fine without? help? lol

Your computer will work fine without it, so don't hold back in the meantime. :)

As I'm not from production, I'm not sure whether the fan connects to the motherboard or directly to the PSU, but I'm sure our techies will respond in the morning.

The side panel fAn? The little white connector? If so it will go in any of your 'fan power' headers on ur mobo. Make sure u get the black wire in the correct header pin tho, manual will tell u which colour is the black one for every fan header on the mobo and will display it in same direction and angle as mobo.

Either directly into one of tha chassis fan connectors on the mother board (refer to your motherboard manual) or into a molex to 3 pin fan power convertor which can be plugged into your PSU's molex connections.
