Help upgrading my pc

Hey all. i recently started streaming on twitch and have only been playing easy to run games like runescape but i tried to stream an fps and it was very stuttery I tried lowering my settings in both obs and the game but it still continued.

I have:

Intel i5-6500
Zotac 1060 3GB
16GB ddr4 RAM

Any suggested upgrades?

You could upgrade either CPU or GPU, I would probably go for the CPU first, something like the i7 7700. 16GB of RAM is plenty.

You could also try just generally refreshing your PC, refreshing Windows etc... quite often that can speed a few things up and it won't cost you a penny.

Refreshed my pc about a week ago so i will start by looking at the CPU upgrade.Very pricey haha
