I am new to this - my name is ben and i want a new PC at the mo i have a toshiba laptop and want something beta

I would like a good spec desktop pc. i dont really wanna spend more than say £1k (max)

any suggestions ....

I'm no good at suggesting specs, but to help those that are, it would be useful to know what you're planning on using your PC for (i.e. gaming, general web surfing, video editing, watching movies etc).
Also will you be needing stuff like monitor, mouse, keyboard, wireless networking?
