Yes it will. If you have chosen that CPU due to budget restrictions i would consider going AMD as they offer more for the money at that price bracket.

No problem, yes i like that spec. You could always plough some of that saved cash into the GPU, im thinking 5850.

Hi I'd swap the 5830 back to the 5850 or a GTX 460? and poss pick a slightly better PSU depending on budget? I'm currently playing BF BC2/Napoleon TW on high/medhigh at 1680X1050 res with real good framerates and your purposed PC is better spec'd than my 3 1/2 year old gaming rig, you'll be fine:p
