Is this purely for gaming? For your budget you can get a nice AMD based 1440 144hz setup.

You can drop the anti-virus and the optane. Do you need the blue-ray drive because you can get better cases and use and external drive.

Gaming and a small bit video editing at times, I have always leaned to intel over the years but willing to listen ideas with AMD

At anything over 1080p 240Hz, Intel is going to perform exactly the same as AMD for gaming, but for anything multithreaded such as video editing, AMD is literally double the performance over an Intel counterpart. Plus AMD motherboards have much more modern features.

Your budget is a bit awkward as it's sitting right between a 1440p 144hz system and a 1440p Ultrawide, but we'll see what we can do.

This is a stonking build for both 1440p Ultrawide and video editing:

Hi thanks for the advice
I had been bold that Intel had better realiabilty so it was the main reason i went with it.
Would PCS have anything near this monitor ?

Intel are the poor choice these days, best to be avoided.

PCS have run out of most of their gaming monitors, they don’t stock anything at this level anyway.
