Recently my 5 year old Cosmos 17" was experiencing fan rumble so I replaced the fan and cleaned up the heat exchanger vent resulting in much less fan noise. Now I've noticed the fan is running slowly even at low CPU load (<20%) when the CPU temp is around 60degC (seems a bit high?). The GPU temp is 45degC even on idle which I believe to be high although I'm not sure what normal should be on idle. I think there is only 1 fan for cooling both the CPU and GPU on this machine.
Please advise what additional maintenance is suggested e.g. replacing thermal paste on CPU and GPU. Any procedure or video links would be most appreciated.
