How do I tell what speed I have?

I have just taken delivery of an overclocked i7 930 system from PC specialist.

How do I tell what speed it has been overclocked to? Device Manager shows the cores at 2.8 Ghz.

I don't want to install anything on the PC until I know it is what I have ordered. So, is there any simple way to find out what speed the overclock is at?

Thanks

Intel (far as I am aware) like to put the default clock speed of their processors in the naming. However there are numerous tools on the internet that will allow you to check the actual speed it is clocked to (for example, CPU-Z which is an excellent little third-party tool provided by the same people who provide things like HWMonitor) or just check in the BIOS on boot.

I use System monitor II for my windows sidebar and that shows my CPU clock speed, even the new current speed of 3.10Ghz from 2.8Ghz which I'm trying out.
