How do I use the "G" buttons?

I bought a PC Specialist keyboard when I bought my computer. I don't know the exact model, but here's an image of it if it helps:
(Edit: The "G" buttons I'm referring to are the six buttons at the far left of the keyboard. They are labelled G1...G6.)

I've just downloaded AutoHotKey and am going through the tutorial on how to create hotkeys. Since I've literally never used the G1-6 buttons before, I'd like to use them for the AutoHotkey scripts. But - in order to create a script you have to type the key in notepad, and when I press one of the G buttons no character comes up in notepad.

What is the proper function of these buttons (in case I'm missing out on something mindblowing by not using them) and is there any way I can use them as normal keys?

Thanks.

Oh huh, macros sound like they're pretty much what I wanted from AutoHotKey in the first place! How do I open the keyboard's software? I tried typing "Keyboard" in start, which gave me the Keyboard menu in control panel -

This is what I see from those. I'm not great at knowing what to look for but nothing I found in any of the tabs seems like a program file, and it sorta looks like WIndows is just treating it as a standard keyboard (so, no specific software at all). If that's the case would I need to download the keyboard driver/software from somewhere?

Thanks!

Thanks very much! Yeah I did think it was a PCS keyboard cos that's what I remember getting. I'll check my account, didn't realise there was a download section oops. If not I'll just use AutoHotKey with a different shortcut and those buttons can be completely decorative I guess.

The logo at the bottom looks like "pc-" on its side. Can't remember if that is the PCS logo... I checked and I don't think there are any other identifying things on it at all. Looks like there used to be a sticker on the underside but if there was, it's already peeled off.
