How is VAT exclusivity treated for Republic of Ireland purchases?

Looking to buy a PC excl. VAT by availing of the VAT exclusivity feature the site has for Ireland when a valid VAT number is provided.

Just wondering how this would be treated - would I have to contact my accountant or do anything from my side? or is everything handled from the PCS side & how is it handled?

Thanks for reading.

Best to use the web chat and ask PCSPECIALIST directly, none of us work for them so we can only speculate.

VAT exclusivity is not limited to Ireland, it's a feature of the EU VAT rules.
I just used this feature with my order (still waiting for that darn RTX 3070 card :D).
There is nothing to be handled on the PCS side (except the VAT exception), you need to talk to your accountant on how to handle this purchase in accordance with the Ireland tax laws.
In order to use this feature you need to provide a valid VAT number and the shipment must be to the address registered with that VAT number (I think they check VIES for that).
