Definitely get a higher performing pencil with more dollars... you might even get gold plating for added 'bling'

Being serious for a second, I well remember the very first Soyuz-Apollo link up in orbit in 1975. The Russians were orbiting the Soyuz as high as they could and NASA didn't know whether Apollo could maintain orbit that low. In addition, the Soyuz capsule just sat there in orbit, Apollo did all the docking manoeuvres. Apollo contained backup systems for most of the mission critical systems, Soyuz had just one of everything - and some of their kit was even clockwork!
