I decided to shrink the windows partition and transfer to this notebook the system Debian 9 (Stretch) from very old computer. I got it to work without any major problems, except wifi, where the situation was unclear, because of existing and possibly not in every backport fixed problems with the AC-9260 wireless card. I lately decided to upgrade to Debian 10 (Duster) too, even it was maybe not necessary - but I got Debian 10 to work on the system too.

I wrote some remarks to this process and the steps, how did I transfer the systems and what I have done to preserve the booting through EFI partition and keep still the Windows installation working. I hope this might be helpful to somebody - I omitted the steps where I solved some independent problems or had to find the exact way - so, if you do the same steps in the same order, you should possibly avoid of my problems (but you can still get to other :) ) - but I think, I have expected it will be more difficult to transfer the system from one to another computer. Please, do not hesitate to write me comments to possible errors I have made or any other remarks, I can also answer some questions, if I get to it :) .
  1. Because the forum is preventing me from posting the text of my example because of some security concerns, I have attached it like an PDF file to this post.
