What types of games do you play?
What monitor do you use, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you're unsure?
What's your max budget?

Mainly been playing Destiny 2 recently but looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 and I play RPGs and FPS games in general.
Thinking of picking up an ASUS VG248QE 144hz
max budget is £1200 so I've still got about £85 to spare on minor things

If you want to go for a build like that, it would be worth thinking of a 1440p 144hz monitor, anything over the GTX 1660 Super is really overpowered for 1080p even at high refresh, and believe me, once you see the difference stepping up to 1440p 144hz makes, you'll never even consider 1080p even as a secondary monitor. It's just a whole different league!

The RTX 2070 Super is perfect for 1440p high refresh.

What was your budget for the monitor? We may be able to juggle things around a bit to fit both this kind of build plus a 1440p 144Hz Gsync compatible screen.

I was thinking about £250 but I may be able to throw in a little more for a 1440p ;)
Was also wondering how future proof this build is?
Thanks for your help it's really appreciated

Then as an example of a monitor around £360, it's 1440p 144Hz GSync Compatible so will sync it's refresh rate with that of the GPU to eliminate tearing and generally smoother experience:

Seems to be cheapest at Amazon:
