I required an RMA because my 2000 euros Laptop's speaker never worked.
I immediatly sent the request and spoke with your call center (Which now Is NOT working) right after my PC arrived at home.
I also sent a "video about it" that you asked me (is not complicated to understand that the speaker arent working but ok)
Since i am eating my own gut over this 2000 euros laptop (language settings problem, reinstalling Windows, Microsoft store problem, reinstalling operating sistem, speaker problem, downloading and reinstalling various driver all with call center) i want my 2000 euros back.
Of course you Will have the computer back, there are absolutly not scratches, i treat It really well.
Why do i have ti wait 7 working days???? THE LAPTOP WAS NOT TESTED. NOT AT ALL. WHY NOW YOU ARE TAKING SO MUCH TIME TO DECIDE IF MY SPEAKER ARE WORKING OR NOT?
Please be so fast to give my Money back to me as you were to """""""""""test"""""""""" my pc.
Thanks
Or not thanks : i spent 2000 euros for losing the sleep at night

I'm afraid bank refunds aren't instant from business accounts. Refunds take up to 5 working days to process, there's nothing unusual about that and it's not pcspecialists fault, it's to do with the banks. They're actually a lot quicker than most places which are up to 14 days.

And of course they have to fully test it before issuing a refund just to see if anything has been damaged. That's perfectly normal as well. They can't just take someone's word for it as unfortunately there are a lot of dishonest people out there.

The fact there was a fault is unfortunate, but most people would look to have it fixed. It's fine if you want to cancel, but you need to understand there are always processes to follow and it's not going to be an instant refund.

It's not ok to call it a scam either, there's no cause for that.

I understand your reply but that's not what i mean. They said to me that they have to take up to 7 days to WATCH THE VIDEO OF THE NOT WORKING SPEAKERS AND DECIDE IF ACCEPT THE RMA.
Is this a joke? I Hope so
They literally """tested""" my PC (maybe a monkey tested It, seeing the results of nothing working) and now they are asking for 7 days to think about my speakers??
Yes It Is a scam, sorry

Yours isn't the only laptop that needs to be tested. They build up to 5000 units per week and have a queue of RMAs that are worked through

To expect them to drop everyone else in the queue in front of you is not reasonable.

Again, there is no suggestion of a scam in any way, I'm afraid your expectations don't tie in with how businesses work.

You have to accept you're not the only one with an issue that need resolving.

I'm giving you a formal warning, you have no just cause to call it a scam.

They're saying up to 7 days as they will have a queue of other support cases to get through in the appropriate order of priority. They can't immediately jump to every ticket as soon as it comes it, this is normal practice. I understand your frustration in having a less than perfect experience, but you're only stressing yourself out needlessly, a bit of patience is required.

Could have been damaged in transit post testing, could have failed after they tested it, it might be a software issue, etc. These things happen. If they didn't, no one would need a warranty.

It's only a scam if PCS don't give you what you're entitled to by consumer law: repair, refund or replacement. And as you've been told, there's a process to go through. So, please, just be patient. You catch more flies with honey....

It's quite common for something to come adrift in shipping, especially when you're shipping a PC abroad to Italy.

There's no way of eradicating component failures or damage due to a dropped parcel. Issues like this often occur and it's outside of PCS control, that's just the nature of sensitive pcs and laptops in transit and failure due to defective parts.

The issue arising has to be expected, it's how a company corrects it that matters.

Ok but since you all are asking me to understand things etc, let also me explain my point : if the speaker May be damaged from the shipping (the computer seems outside perfect but ok, i understand), what about the Microsoft store not working ? Of course the call center was very nice and helped me, but this prove my point: the PC was not tested.
I May be ignorant but explain me what exactly can you test without downloading a single thing? The PC Is basically a dead screen! Plus, i paid for a service and not for spending all my free time to redownload and reinstall tens of things.
So yeah, the call center people are very nice, but the have i the right to say that no one tested my computer?
Seems fair to me

I can appreciate the frustration but try to have a little class. You're coming across as a spoiled child who has never had anything go wrong with a purchase. You are paying for a service. When the product fails in any way, the service you have paid for is to have it fixed in a timely manner outlined in the T&Cs. You seem like petulant child throwing your toys out the pram because your new bling thing isn't working. These things happen, it will be dealt with.... and thankfully your refund will be issued.

These things happen, it's how they are dealt with that matter. When they money is back in your bank it will be case closed and I personally hope you shop elsewhere and never need assistance on here again. Dealing with an attitude such as yours in life is my idea of a living hell.

Explaining this any further is a little like explaining chess to a pigeon. Noone is going to win and it'll make a mess of the board.

I genuinely feel for the PCS support staff this fine morning. The customer may have to be right where customer service lies, but here you are just plain wrong.

As opposed to yours? You think you've been respectful in any way with your comments?

I do not speak on behalf of PCS, but I do speak on behalf of common decency.

The Microsoft Out Of Box experience which PCS put it into once they've finished testing totally resets it and is notorious for those kinds of problems. Again, this isn't something PCS can avoid, it's a well documented Microsoft issue.

But if you're buying a custom laptop you're expected to know how to manage windows yourself. But PCS of course would have helped had you asked them for advice rather than accusing them for a Microsoft problem that's nothing to do with them

This is your final warning

I'm afraid this is likely a child who has no understanding of what a custom laptop is or how to use it blaming a company because they don't understand the realities of transporting sensitive equipment.

We've tried to give you understanding of the realities but you're clearly not open to changing your unwarranted and unfair perception

Instead of insulting me after i spent my money here, please explain me what they exactly tested

I would ask PCS that question through phone, webchat or email. We are a volunteer support group. PCS staff are rarely on the forums and are more here for administration and web domain support.

The customer support chain is direct through PCS itself and will be able to detail what was assessed with your particular build.

There's nothing more we can do to help here unfortunately so this thread is being closed.
