Psygnosis was based up the road from me, and every year they took one lad from our school on for work experience. I was not the lucky chosen one, but wanted to lynch the lad who was!

My mate worked at Psygnosis in Liverpool in the late 80s / early 90s...but then followed me into graphic design & document production (money was significantly better).
And how could I have possibly forgotten this one?

I completed it for the millionth time in the first lockdown. I am so in love with that game!
I won’t insert the video here because the clip contains some fruity language but Metal Gear Awesome has some funny moments.

He doesn't seem to have ever regretted it.
Not sure if it was due to the stories he got from his old colleagues as they went through the troubles during the 'Sony years', or the fact that he used some of his early earnings to buy a couple of grand of Apple stock when it was under $1/share?
It paid for his apartment, and some heavy wine drinking sessions, but after a few years of limited work - I'm more flexible, and easier to work with, so I get more work than him - he's moaning about having 'no money'...when I think he means he's down to his last £10k.
