As @ubuysa says, it's either called control center or gaming center.
I updated my Geforce GTX drivers from Geforce Experience and now the Control Center doesnt work

Update: The backlight now works while the laptop is starting up but as soon as i log in it turns off. The control center has no effect on the backlight.

What did you do, were the backlights disabled?

I think unplugging the charger did it. I unplugged it then the backlight started working for the startup. Then i reatarted a few times and the backlight worked after logging in and the control centre worked aswell
