can any of you comment on my spec before I pay my hard earned wonger - I want to edit movies - not interested in gaming - so need loads of speed and space. Many are up to 1 hour and i may want to edit and combine - files can be 5 gig or more and i have .mod / .mov / .wmp / avi etc etc. I am aware one can buy some high spec component that don't actually operate at full force because they are not matched - trouble is thats all i know - can anyone give me any tips? My present 4Gb ram - intel (R) core (TM)2 quad CPUQ 6600@ 2.40Ghz just crashes what ever the software I use.
