Introduction!

Hullo! I'm a Linux (Ubuntu) user and I wanted to just say 'hi'. I've never bought a PC Specialist PC before, but will certainly have a look next time I do :D

I'm interested in knowing which hardware vendors supply kit with no OS installed, or (more interestingly) with Ubuntu (or any Linux version) pre-installed.

Edit: The above line makes it sound like I want people to recommend other vendors, that wasn't my intention, sorry :D

He told me "For the time being we don't have the resources available to work with Linux, but as a company we are looking to expand our resources this year, so perhaps once we've expanded we could look into supporting Linux further." I've offered to come to the ,factory and help with tests if required.

Oops! Sorry about that. It didn't occur to me that this could be a problem. Consider my hand slapped. Won't do it again.

Yea I'm an Ubuntu user with a pcspecialist PC and the fact I could buy it without an operating system [even though they test it with Win7 and leave the unregistered copy on the drive :) ] was the main reason for doing so. I was very happy with my PC and would recommend to other Linux users.
