Hi all,
Wanted a relatively thin and light laptop around 15'-16', with a solidly build chasis and future proofed for at least 5 years. I would use I use it mostly for browsing and projecting movies/shows. Sometimes, photo and and light video processing.
My previous laptop was an Optimus series from 2015, but was let down by the wear and tear of the plastic chasis, poor batery life, bad speakers and weight.
I'm not a gamer, so am wondering if it's worth spending more money on the Ionico series (specs below) with an RTX gpu or going with something cheaper with just an integrated card. I've looked a bit at the Elimina series but that seems to have more of a standard plastic chasis. My budget would be 1000-1400£
Any recomendation from the other ranges at least for a robust chasis and (hopefully) good battery life? Mostly I plug in my laptop but it's nice to have the option of being mobile for more than 2hrs.
