Ionico with RTX 4070

On https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/15-gaming-laptops/ the Ionico is advertised as offering 4050, 4060, and 4070, but when I click through to configure it only offers 4050.

Is the 4070 available for this model?

Likely a stock shortage.
You should ask PCS directly, none of us work for them and they don't monitor the forums.

All the laptops marked as 'Special Offer' are the same in that they only offer one choice for the graphics card. Thje same may also be true for other componants. I suspect that these laptops are now end of line and about to be revised or replaced.

As Ekans says though, check with PCS to see if you can get what you really want.

The graphics are part of the motherboard, they're not a modular card, so you can't swap them round. If they sell out of a particular barebones with a 4070 for instance, I doubt there will be any more, the reason they're on special offer is because they're end of line stocks. The 4070 will have been very popular as it's really required to power the 1440p display. 4060 would be the next best thing for photo editing type uses. 4050 is really underpowered for most uses.
