Is my PSU "unstable"?

Just got a new PC from PCS and for the third time it's shut down (always while playing a game). It reboots and I get a message:

"Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. ASUS anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit!"

(The exclamation mark was genuinely included in the message by the way)

The machine is running as cool as a cucumber, so I doubt it's a problem with overheating.

Has anyone else come across this?

For future reference where does one find this feature in the bios?

Edit: Never mind - found it :)

Thanks for the reply Yamaha. Have to say that I'm not too happy about just turning it off. If the "fix" to an alarm going off is to disable the alarm, I start to worry...;-).

Just don't do the same 'trick' with your home fire alarm! I did once, but I had to put the battery back in, as it was the only way I could tell that the missus had the dinner ready! :chef:
