Is this good for my first gaming pc?

I've never built a desktop pc before but I know a few things about them and I want to have one for myself.

Is this configuration alright? I did it with some of my friends.

What would this system be used for what monitor would it be hooked up to and what would be your max budget

I’m afraid that configuration is going to barely function as a gaming PC, I’d be surprised if it’d run any modern game at anything but the rock bottom lowest settings.

With the market being what it is at the moment, you’re looking at around £1200 for a very basic gaming build with limited upgradability. And spending around £1600 for something that could get close to rivalling a console for visuals and offer you a decent upgrade path.

Probably not what you wanted to hear but prices are at an all time high and availability has been at an all time low. It’s created the perfect storm to make it the worst possible year to get into PC gaming.
