Issue with AOC monitor?

Hi PC Specialist,

I took delivery of a new desktop PC and 28" AOC monitor last November and it has all been running perfectly until about 3 weeks ago. When I turn the PC on it takes 15 minutes for a picture to display on the monitor (Win10 login screen). I've checked the connections (DP) and tried a HDMI cable and there is power to the monitor (orange standby light turns white when the PC is switched on). I'm assuming there is an issue with the monitor not Windows 10 or the PC. I've haven't made any changes to display settings since receiving the PC. Any help much appreciated. Monitor details: AOC U2879VF 28" 4K monitor.

As a test you can try the pc outputting to another monitor or tv, see if the same thing happens.

Hello again,

Sorry for the long delay, work took me away. Pretty sure it’s the monitor. Swapped it with another monitor and it worked fine and I also noticed when the AOC monitor was flickering (when the desktop eventually came up) and I unplugged the DP cable from the monitor the ’no signal’ message kept flickering on screen. Please advise.

Sounds like you need to contact PCS and arrange for the monitor to be RMA'd back for inspection.
