Chassis & Display
Lafité Pro Series: 14" Matte Full HD 60 Hz 72% NTSC LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i5 12 Core Processor 1240P (1.7GHz, 4.4GHz Turbo)
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair 3200MHz SODIMM DDR4 (1 x 16GB)
Graphics Card
Integrated Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics
1st M.2 SSD Drive
500GB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 6900MB/R, 5000MB/W)
Memory Card Reader
Integrated 6 in 1 Card Reader (SD /Mini SD/ SDHC / SDXC / MMC / RSMMC)

I've loaded Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS. All seems to work fine other than suspend/sleep mode which doesn't shut things down as much as it should. (The power light continues constant and does not start flashing.) I've used gsettings to disable touchpad when another mouse is plugged in; Fn-F4 toggles the keyboard light levels and on/off.
Anyone got ideas how to solve the suspend issue?

Thanks for that useful link. Seems suspend is sometimes problematic with linux.
I've tried several possible fixes (systemd settings etc) I found through that link but so far not resolved. I'll keep looking at it and will post back once I get a solution.

No progress so far. Even upgraded ubuntu from linux kernel 5.19 to 6 and no change.
I keep trying to find a solution.
