I'm suffering from the well documented STRIX B550-F LAN dropout problem. Have tried various documented fixes including reinstalling drivers, upgrading to CAT8 cable and changing speed/duplex to 1.0 Gbps but still having issues. Have not tried "dumb switch" fix, can you recommend a switch don't need more than 4 ports, alternatively would installing an alternative LAN card and disabling the motherboard LAN solve the issue. If so can you recommend a suitable card, wired or wireless ?

Surprised you still have the issue, once I changed duplex speed I didn't have further issues with dropout. What driver version number is your NIC on?

I would suggest contacting PCS for a BIOS update, it may include firmware for the NIC
I've been looking at bios for this board recently myself. Currently on Version 2423, and there are two newer versions available from Asus:
  • Version 2604 - includes beta version of AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.6, which some people reported issues with
  • Version 2803 - which Asus has labelled as beta.
So not sure I'd be comfortable with either of these updates, given they might bring bigger issues. At least this LAN dropout is resolved with a turn on/turn off of the PSU, minor inconvenience relatively
