Laptop advice £1.5k budget

Hi All, was wondering if anyone could advise me on which 15.6" laptop on offer would suit for general use, coding/graphic design/gaming.

My budget is around £1000-£1500 but tell me if I'm being unrealistic. Hard drive space isn't enormously important as I use an external for storage.
Witcher 3 at 1080p (I'm happy at this res, don't care about 4k) is probably my highest benchmark for gaming use but its generally going to be less intensive.

I currently have a tower, GTX 970, i5-6600K, 16GB HyperX FURY DDR4 2666MHz. I don't know if at my budget I can get something to surpass this, as you can guess I've had this for a while.

Heat out is also a concern as I will be literally using this on my lap so any advice on how these preform in this area as well is welcome.

I can never keep up for hardware so sorry if any stupid questions, just trying to avoid putting 64 gigs of extra ram in I don't need.

Thanks in advance :)

Thank you for your response :) I would be using it portably but nowhere I can't plug it in so not too bothered about battery life. That build does look good thank you.
Is there an advantage besides the space to having the two separate SSDS or would just having a sole primary in the 1TB be viable?

Good practice is to put the operating system and some apps on the smaller drive, then any personal data / gaming files etc on the other - then this way if you ever need to reinstall a clean version of windows you dont lose data etc.
