Laptop Delivery Query

Hi everyone

I've just purchased a custom 17inch laptop from pc specialist which i need before Monday the 27th of this month.

I've paid for fast track 3 day build but what are the odds that i will actually get the laptop before the date specified above?

I'm currently in Edinburgh, Scotland

Do you think i should have faith and wait or cancel my order to be safe?

I'd be pretty confident.

As you know, the fast track isn't guaranteed, but it's generally something they can meet. Since they refund the cost if they can't meet it, they'd only be making more work for themselves if they couldn't provide that service pretty reliably.

The 27th is a good way away still. Keep an eye on your order status in your main PCS account, and you could always phone PCS to ask if they have any stock issues with any of the parts you've ordered (storage, RAM, etc) and if so whether there are alternatives you can switch to.

I ordered mine on Sunday evening (12.03.17) with fast track 3 day and It was delivered to me (London) on Wednesday (15.03.17) at 3pm.

5 day fast track would probably still have been fine.

even assuming you ordered it on Monday next week it would be dispatched on Wednesday worst case 2 day delivery that means you will have it by Friday. Given that you ordered it yesterday it should be more then fine, just keep an eye on the order tracker and make sure it goes though stages at a decent rate.
